What are your opinions about Pink as a artist?
I think that as a artist she is a fun, rebellious person who sings about a lot of truths in her songs.
What do you expect from her videos?
I expect wacky themes, colourful and bright settings, beds, cars, alcohol and her always acting in her videos.
Audience?
Girls, teenagers to twenties.

Pink describes her video as pop rock. I agree with her as it is a mix of the two with the performance in some of her videos but also when she has a narrative which is a typical thing that you will see in a pop video.

Don't let me get me - 2002

This song is aimed at insecure teenage girls. Props in the video are what shows the seriousness of the message which she is trying to get across. Below are some screen shots from the video above.

This is the shot from the start, it is a mid shot of Pink and her surroundings. As you can see the prop in this is a bottle in a brown paper bag. It represents a bottle of alcohol, which is important as it one of the many problems that insecure girls have which is drinking. It really starts the video of with a strong message which continues through out the video.

This is another mid shot of pink. You can see in this shot that she is looking at her reflection in the mirror, and from the way she stands you can see she doesnt like what she sees. This again is another problem with girls as most girls think that they aren't pretty.

This is a mid shot of one of the characters in the video. You can see that she is what most people think as perfect, pretty and skinny. This is a important aspect in the video as this song is basically about how insecure girls compare themselves to perfect girls like the one in this shot. This shot is from the part in the video where she gets a teach because pink is fighting with herself in the mirror so she is like singling her out because she is different.

This is another mid shot from the video. Again it is one of pink looking in the mirror, but this time she is fighting with herself. This is showing what some girls go through, as they have this sort of battle going on inside them.

This is a mid shot again. In this shot is a person called LA Reid who is a music producer. He is pointing to a black board which has drawings and writing of a perfect girl in the music industry.

This is a close up of Pink on a magazine. This shot has a very important message as it is clearly showing what girls compare themselves to. This is a very typical thing those days and it still is today.

This shot is a mid shot of pink. In the shot she is holding a knife. The knife is a symbol of yet another problem that girls do which is self harming. She has put this in her video not as a joke but as a serious part of the message which the whole video and the song are all about.

This shot is a mid shot of pink performing. This shot is at the end of the video when she is performing and she morphs into other people. This part of the video is now showing that even with all of those problems that you should always be yourself and that you can be successful like she is.
